A Comprehensive CCC 2006 Symposium on August 10, 2006

This is a joined event of the CCC 2006 conference and
the 2006 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP).

The symposium will be the first of its kind in providing an introduction of what is state-of-the-art and what are future developments in countercurrent and partition methodology in natural products research.
The event will feature speakers that are experts in various fields of basic and/or applied CCC with particular relevance to natural products. The attendees at the 47th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP) in Arlington, VA (Aug 5-9, 2006) are cordially invited to attend this one-day symposium at no charge.

Symposium Program

There symposium will start at 8:30 a.m. and consist of eight plenary talks with morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks for individual discussions. A photograph of all symposium participants will be taken immediately after closing of the last session.
The symposium will covering all aspects of countercurrrent chromatography relevant to natural products chemistry ranging from basic CCC theory to solvent systems to hyphenation to drug discovery and applied CCC.
The final program will be posted here as soon as it is available.

Transportation from ASP to CCC 2006

Participants are required to make their own arrangements for transportation. However, because both conference sites are in very close proximity to train stations, the Washington D.C. Metro system provides rapid and timely transportation with only one transfer required at Metro Center from the blue or yellow to the red line (travel time ca. 35min). Further information can be found here.
