2006 Papers
Call for Abstracts
CCC 2006 welcomes
your contribution to the scientific program and invites you to submit
a synopsis of your work in the form of an abstract.
Format of Contributions
There will be three
types of contributions: oral presentations and posters during the conference,
and, emerging from these presentations, full papers
published as conference proceedings. See below for instructions
to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations.
- Oral presentations
will be 15 minute talks followed by 5 min discussions
- In order to
foster interactive sessions with sufficient time for discussion,
session chairs are instructed to ensure that the speakers stay within
their alloted 15-minute time limit
- Posters
will be presented on poster board sized 4 x 8 feet = 120 x 240 cm (landscape
orientation). All posters will participate in a discussion session at
which time the authors will give short 3-minute presentations on the
highlights of their presented research.
- Poster boards
will be available in the lobby of Lister Hill at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday,
August 10, for you to display your work
- Push pins,
tape, and scissors will be provided
Abstracts
Abstracts must
be prepared using the CCC2006
Abstract Template and be submitted electronically
no later than the deadline.
- The abstract template
is in Rich-Text Format (RTF), which is compatible with all recent word
processors
- Do
not exceed the alloted 1-page space limit and keep your
text , figures, tables, etc. within the box
- The template
contains suggested formatting styles
- For the bibliography,
ACS style with titles is suggested
- Abstracts can
contain small B&W graphics such as chemical
structures, line graphics, schematics or short tables. Grayscale
or color pictures will not be accepted.
- At the time of
submission, indicate your preference for a poster or an oral
presentation. Depending on the
number of contributions, however, the organizing committee may have
to change the format of a contribution. You will be notified
by e-mail of the acceptance and any such change in
due course.
