The CCC 2006 Program

The CCC 2006 conference is scheduled for

Tuesday, August 8 unitl Friday, August 11, 2006.

The scientific program will consistst of

• a four-day scientific program and will include
• a one-day symposium "Countercurrent Chromatogrphy of Natural Products" on August 10.

The date of the symposium has been chosen to accommodate the schedule of the 2006 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Pharmacognosy in Arlington VA/Washington DC.

Why the choice in dates?

This was done to allow the much favorable situation of overlapping meetings between CCC 2006 and ASP 2006, both located within short distance in the Washington D.C. area, and in particular with regard to the joined workshop to be schedule on the Thursday right after the Wednesday night ASP closing banquet.

The meeting dates also avoid potential conflicts with the Gordon Research Conference on Natural Products (July 23-28, 2006) and the IUPAC Meeting on Biodiversity and Natural Products (July 23-28, 2006). The dates of both the ASP and the CCC meetings were changed to maximize the potential for individuals, including many ASP members and officers, to attend one of the other meetings and still be able to attend the ASP meeting.
