The CCC 2006 Venue

The conference will be held at the Lister Hill Center Auditorium on the Campus (map: building 38A) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Bethesda is located in the Washington D.C. area on the East coast of the United States.

The Lister Hill Center Auditorium will host the oral presentations of CCC 2006. The auditorium is equipped with individual microphones for all participants, which will foster interactive discussions of the oral contributions.

    • Per Room Per Night Rate: small double-bed room $105 plus tax, standard double-bed room $139 plus tax.

Please reserve your rooms directly with the hotel and refer to "CCC2006" in order to receive the discount rate. Shuttle bus transportation to CCC2006 will be available for the above hotels.

Please note that these are per-room rates, which will often accomodates two guests unless single rooms are explicitly chosen. Make sure to arrange for single/double beds when making your reservation with the hotel directly.

Climate and Clothing

The summer climate in the Washington area is hot and usually ranges in the from 75-90 F (23-33 C) for the day highs and 60-75 F (18-23 C) for the night lows. The venue is air-conditioned - you may consider bringing a sweater.
