This page was created in order to share some of the interesting, innovative, and sometimes humorous public displays of Spanish found around the United States.  The purpose is not to bemoan or make fun of the proficiency or translation abilities of those who created the signs.  No matter how "non-standard" the language is, the signs most likely serve their communicative function of informing people in the community about something.  Read here for further details about Spanish in the United States.
