If
you use Windows XP, or if you have had problems
with "Memory protection fault" errors, you will need to download
patches for both DOS and Windows versions of the MIX programs.
Jan de
Leeuw of UCLA has compiled all programs for PowerMac and Solaris. These
are available at Jan
de Leeuw's website. These ported versions do not have an interface
and are similar to the DOS executuables in terms of program usage.
