| Atanacio Gonzalez was a journeyman
in the printing industry before embarking on a professional career.
He is Associate Director of the UIC Neighborhoods Initiative and shares
his time with the UIC Nathalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood
and Community Improvement. Gonzalez holds a Masters in Urban Planning
and Policy from the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs
at UIC. He received a Bachelor of Arts from California State University
at Los Angeles. Gonzalez has experience as a community organizer,
coordinator of projects, a director of regional and national projects,
and a trainer and consultant. |
