Policies

Fees
Congress registration is 395 (USD) for all faculty; 295 (USD) with the Odyssey Cruise for all students and retired members of ACSP or AESOP. Students only may "opt out" of the cruise reducing their registration fee to $235. One-day registration for non-academic practitioners is 95 (USD). Mobile tour fees vary. (top)

General Registration Open
Make the June 2 registration deadline to pay discounted registration fees. After June 2, all fees will increase by 50 (USD). Mailed or faxed registration forms must be received by June 2 in order to be considered received by deadline. Attendees can register until July 3, and then they need to bring the paperwork to Chicago and register on-site. (top)

Presenter's Registration Deadline June 2
All presenters participating with roundtable discussions or papers listed in the printed program must pay the registration fee, make alternative financial arrangements, or risk removal from the program. This rule is enforced, and presentations/names will be deleted from the printed program. (top)

Completed Papers Submission Deadline June 2
Completed papers must be delivered to the session discussant by June 2 or the discussant may not be able to include them in their summary points. Your discussant's email address will be sent to you well before this deadline. (top)

Completed papers should also be delivered to ddodd@acsp.org by June 2 in order to be included on a compact disk which will be in your registration packet when you arrive in Chicago. Delivery of your paper in advance of this deadline would be much appreciated! (top)

Advisory! The ACSP-AESOP Joint Congress Committee will publish a compact disk of conference abstracts. In addition, we are providing authors the opportunity to make their full papers available to Congress attendees included on the same disk. In considering whether to take advantage of this opportunity, you should be aware of a potential pitfall in providing the full paper via the conference compact disk. The issue is that some peer-reviewed journals (many in the U.S.) consider such reproduction to be "prior publication" and will not review for publication a paper disseminated in this way. It would be prudent to discuss this issue with the editor of a publication outlet you may be targeting prior to submitting your full conference paper for inclusion on the conference compact disk.

On-line Registration Closes July 2
The Congress office is closed for the July 4th US holiday starting July 3. On-line registration will close on July 2. Anyone who decides to attend after July 2nd may register on-site in Chicago. Email kdd@acsp.org to let us know you'll be coming. It would be helpful if you could complete the registration PDF prior to your arrival at the registration desk. (top)

Payment Method
The Congress will accept Mastercard or Visa credit cards. The Congress does not accept American Express, Discover or wire transfers for payment. Make purchase orders and personal or university checks payable to ACSP, Inc. The ACSP Federal Identification number is 54-2110263. If you require an invoice in advance of your payment, contact kdd@acsp.org as soon as possible. (top)

Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted prior to June 2. Please use this refund request form. There is a 50 (USD) cancellation fee. After June 2, there are no refunds. (top)
