UPP Open Houses

Upcoming Open Houses for prospective students are:

Open Houses are held in Room 110 at CUPPA Hall, 412 S. Peoria St. Registration and refreshments is at 6:00, with the Open House program from 6:30—8:00. Interested students should review the Prospective Students page on the UPP website for information on the program. Please RSVP to upp@uic.edu if you plan to attend. SPSS, SAS & other workshops

A number of workshop, including Introduction to SPSS, Introduction to SAS, Simple Statistics in MS Excel, and Introduction to MS Access, are being offered on campus.

These workshops are free of charge to anyone currently
affiliated with UIC (faculty, staff, or student).  There is no
registration for these workshops.  Attendees must be able
to log into ACCC lab machines, and should be acquainted
with Windows operations.  As there is no registration for
these workshops, attendees obtain lab machines on a
first-come, first-served basis.

UPP Friday Forum

Fridays during the academic year, UPP hosts a series of presentations by faculty, students, visiting scholars, and invited guests to explore issues in planning. If you are interested in presenting at Friday Forum, contact Rachel Weber at rachelw@uic.edu.

Directions to UPP

The Urban Planning & Policy Program is located on the University of Illinois at Chicago campus at 412 S. Peoria in CUPPA Hall.  Peoria is two blocks west of Halsted, and our office building is on the southwest corner of Peoria and Van Buren Streets. Van Buren is just north of the Eisenhower expressway (I-290). You can view general travel directions to campus, and directions via public transportation on the Blue Line of the CTA Rapid Transit. Walk south across Harrison St. after exiting the UIC/Halsted stop to the center of campus.
