Visiting Coordinator: Administrative Operations

Section of Hematology/Oncology

The section of Hematology/Oncology, in the Department of Medicine, at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a Visiting Coordinator of Administrative Operations to coordinate and oversee the ongoing management of the procedures and daily administrative operations of the Section of Hematology/Onoclogy under the direction of the Section Chief.

Duties include but are not limited to the development and implementation of the section's operational and administrative policy and procedures, development of annual goals, preparation of research post award budgets and coordinating the efforts of staff relating to execution goals/objectives. Incumbent will also be responsible for coordinating the Fellowship program. This position will be involved in the fiscal oversight of the research activities within the section to assure integration of projects, personnel, and laboratories.

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance or related discipline required. Masters degree preferred. 2 years of related experience required. Experience in a large university or healthcare institution preferred.
