ITL Equipment Available for Loan

The ITL lends out to students: multimedia authoring, media capture and presentation equipment that might be useful to students and/or faculty to complete multimedia-rich class projects. All equipment can be checked out from the ITL-East for up to one week.

Who can check out the ITL equipment?

Equipment from the ITL can be checked out by students or faculty for teaching and learning purposes.

Location and Hours

The ITL-East walk in hours are Monday through Thursday from 1-5pm. The ITL-East is located in the Richard J. Daley Library, on the first floor of the Main Library on the west side of the building, room LIB 1-460.

Please note

The SML does not provide blank CD's, DVD's or Mini-DV tapes. Recording materials must be provided by the student and if appropriate brought into the SML to transfer or save projects.

Email the ITL if you are a faculty or staff member, and have any questions regarding Web / Multimedia design and development or, on anything related to the use of computer technology in the classroom.

IP Videoconferencing (IPVC) supports two-way video and audio communication over the Internet, between two or more locations.

ACCC e-Rooms (aka Centra Symposium) is an easy to use Web Conferencing system for real-time teaching and collaboration.

The ITL runs a RealMedia Helix streaming server that can deliver RealAudio, RealVideo, QuickTime, Windows Media, MP3 and other multimedia content over the Internet.
