Error 1 : Remote Procedure is failed
Note 1: You will need to be logged in to your computer with
administrator access in order to perform trouble-shooting
Note 2: You must READ EVERY PROCEDURE and DO NOT SKIP anything.
Note 3: We STRONGLY Recommend that TURN OFF the firewall, such as Zone Alarm, Symantec, etc., before you install this client.
Note 4: If you experience with errors while you are trouble-shooting, or you are not sure about what you are doing, Please visit ACCCeSS HELPDESK and ask for help.
- Please make sure which printer package you were installing. (For example: Client for Student, Client for Campus Housing, or Client for Color Printer)
- Please re-try to install same Client installation file. (Sometimes it does install without trouble-shooting).
If it still does not work, then go onto next step.
- Your error message should be look like below .
- Please go to Start -> Control Panel -> Printer and Faxes
- Please select the printer that you were installing and got errors. (For example: you were installing Client for Student and got an error message, then select the ACCC- Lab Printers (B&W) ).
* Just to make sure, Check the table in Step 6 before you delete and come back to here
** If you don't see the printer that you just installed, then go to Step 7**
- After you select the correct printer, please delete it. (You can delete it by hit the 'delete' key on keyboard or right mouse button click while the cursor is on the selected printer and choose 'delete'. If a window pops up and ask you that really want to delete, then click 'OK'.)
- After you delete the printer, Please download a file from the table below and run it.

- While you are running the downloaded file, you will have two pop-up windows as below
- Please click 'OK' on both pop-up windows

You are ready to re-install now. Please go back to intallation procedure page and try to install it again.
