Voicemail

Accessing voicemail for the first time.
To set up voicemail, dial 2222. Use the default phone password "112233" to enter the system. You will be able to reset your password and record a greeting.

Checking messages away from your phone.
You may call your phone from any other phone. When the recorded greeting begins playing, press the "*" button. You will be prompted for your 5-digit phone number followed by your phone password.

Your phone password does not allow you to check your voicemail.
Request that your phone password be reset at voip@uic.edu. Include your name and 5-digit extension number in the email message and an ACCC representative will contact you with your new phone password.

Bypassing a voicemail greeting.
Once the person's voicemail greeting begins, press the "#" button on your phone.
