Welcome to the UIC GIS collaboration page. This is an experimental site that uses ESRIs Internet Map Server, a software package that allows the delivery of maps and data via the internet. It is, in many ways, similar to other ESRI products especially ArcView and ArcExplorer. It is not meant to replace GIS but rather to extend GIS to more users and it is one more tool that can be used in the transportation planning process.

That being said there are a few ArcIMS specifics one should be aware of:
The table listing the graphic selections is limited to 25 records

Graphic selections may require some patience because of server traffic
