Directions to Campus

How to find our building from the Blue Line

• Exit the train at the UIC/Halsted Exit

• There are three exits to choose from, exit the platform in the middle exit, the only exit with stairs leading up to street level (not the ramps- Morgan St is on the far west., Halsted St. is at the far East) The best way to end up there is to enter the train in one of the middle cars.

• Once on street level walk toward the campus, choose the sidewalk on the right of the V shaped grassy area and UIC sign.

• Cross Harrison St. at the cross-walk and keep walking straight on the sidewalk/ path. You should notice a very tall building on your Right (the only tall building on campus)

• You will pass a short building on your left resembling a long brick wall, once you pass that you will see a brand new 3 story building with big windows. That’s us! Keep walking to the end of the building and then turn left to enter Grant Hall. Our building is noticeably different than the other buildings as we are brand new.

• The Language and Culture Learning Center office is on the 3rd floor in room 301(the sign says Faculty Lab).

• The Language Oasis is on the 3rd floor in room 308.

Where to park?

The closest parking lot is LOT 9, which is on the northeast corner of Morgan and Harrison streets with the entrance on Morgan Street.

How to find our building from Parking Lot 9

• Exit the parking lot at the southeast corner, close to the blue line and on Harrison St. (you will see a really tall building in front of you and the freeway should be behind) The southeast corner is the one to the left of the really tall building. Cross Harrison St. at the crosswalk.

• This will bring you to a UIC sign on a tall post and a sidewalk heading in towards campus. Take the long sidewalk entering the campus; you should no longer be on Harrison St.

• Walk straight into campus; you will pass a short building on your left resembling a long brick wall, once you pass that you will see a brand new 3 story building with big windows. That’s us! Keep walking to the end of the building and then turn left to enter Grant Hall. Our building is noticeably different than the other buildings as we are brand new.
