Mike Stroscio was recently named to the Editorial Board of the Journal of Nanoelectronics and Optoelectronics

May 31, 2005: The strategic plan of the Division of Chemical and Transport Systems (CTS) of NSF highlighted (p. 13) Dr. Megaridis’ nanofluidics work as an example of CTS-supported research in the area of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. This is one of the four priority research areas identified in the plan, which can be viewed in its entirety at  www.nsf.gov/attachments/104206/public/Final_CTS.pdf .

November 20-22, 2005: Dr. Megaridis and Prof. P. Koumoutsakos (ETH-Zurich) co-organized the minisymposium titled “Fluid Transport in Nanotubes and Nanochannels,” at the 58th Annual Meeting of the Division of Fluid Dynamics of the American Physical Society, Chicago, Illinois.

Prof. Hayat Onuksel was recently appointed to the Editorial Board of Journal of Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine, and as a Member of Advisory Panel for NanoBiotechnology Review 2006.
