Provost's Update: January 2005 2010 Committee Meetings Schedule

I wish to draw your attention to the latest draft of the Report of the 2010 Strategic Thinking Committee which is now available for you to read and comment on below. In keeping with our request that the strategic thinking process be inclusive and incorporate the views and aspirations of all sectors of the UIC community, the 2010 Committee has met with a wide representation of campus units, organizations and groups. It is our intention that the 2010 process be a continuing one reflecting the need for sustained dialog on planning for the future. In this spirit, and as a beginning, the 2010 Committee has arranged to hold two forums to discuss the report and its implications and to receive your feedback in person. Wednesday,

The 2010 Report and the consultative process of its creation
will serve as a guide
for active strategic planning and program development at UIC. The participation
and involvement of all who care about UIC's future will propel
UIC to achieve its full potential.
