Meet and network with people from all areas of the life sciences
Become part of an on-going forum bringing life science researchers from
universities and industries together to exchange ideas, discuss challenges,
and explore potential collaborations in an effort to promote
commercialization. This forum will provide a unique combination of
presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking. The intent is to
expose industry to the wealth of available research and innovation taking
place in the life sciences departments of participating universities.
Industry participants have included Baxter, Abbott, TAP, Takeda, Eli Lilly,
Rush University and University of Illinois at Chicago.
This is the Eighth in a series of forums intended to foster collaboration
between Midwest area universities and pharmaceutical firms. Previous forum
topics have ranged from neurodegenerative and reproductive disorders, to
regenerative and cardiovascular medicine, and have resulted in collaborative
efforts between industry and academia.
