Topic: Cardiovascular Medicine: Part
I - Heart arrhythmias, heart failure, and
related thrombosis risks

Become part of an on-going forum to bring life science
researchers from universities and companies together to exchange
ideas, discuss challenges, and explore potential collaborations
to promote commercialization. At
this forum, you will address problems that need solving and explore opportunities
to move research from the bench to the bedside and for the greater public
good.
This forum is the Fourth in a series of collaborations between Midwest
area universities and pharmaceutical firms. The forum provides a unique
combination of presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking.
Faculty members active in areas pertaining to this topic are invited to
submit an abstract of their work of no more than 250 words. Criteria for
consideration will include:
stage of development of the research
-- 20%
relevance to the treatment
or cure of diseases -- 40%
commercial
impact -- 40%
Research must
fall into at least one of the following areas as it relates to Cardiovascular
Medicine:
Clinical Therapeutic Applications,
New Research
Methodologies, or
Platform Technologies.
Posters of research for review should also be
submitted according to the schedule below presented.

Submission of final materials (Power Point presentation)
