Life Sciences InitiativeWelcome to Life Sciences Initiative for the Midwest Region. The Life Sciences Initiative provides an ongoing forum to bring together academia and industry to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and explore potential collaborations which may lead to commercialization. The forum provides the opportunity for academia to showcase its research and form corporate partnerships with the life sciences community. The forum provides industry the opportunity to learn about discoveries before the general competitive markets; establish strategic relationships with biotech and other life science companies; develop a pathway to obtain talented scientists in the Midwest; encourage research at universities that are supportive of in-house research efforts; and support and enhance the local and regional life sciences community.
