• Broadly applicable to multiple therapeutic areas/diseases
• Novel methodology
• Technical feasibility
• Likelihood of technical/clinical success
• Stage of development
• Potential for commercialization (scale up for manufacturing/cost)

Judges are selected from the contributing organizations and outside independent researchers.
