Campus Research Board (CRB) Workshop

Preparing a CRB Application

 

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research is offering workshops to learn how to prepare Campus Research Board applications.

 

Topics to be covered:

• Review of general guidelines and eligibility;
• Instructions for completing forms correctly;
• Tips for preparing the budget and budget justification;
• Writing for the reviewer: Simple ways to improve your submission and common mistakes to avoid;
• Criteria used to evaluate and score your proposal.

 

This workshop is designed for a broad, multidisciplinary audience and will NOT address specific questions related to the scientific content of your proposal.  

 

This workshop will be offered on four dates.

• Session 1: Monday, February 7

 

• Session 2:  Wednesday, February 9

 

• Session 3:  Thursday, February 10

 

• Session 4:  Friday, February 11

 

All sessions will be from 11:00 a.m. until noon and located in Room 307, Administrative Office Building, 1737 West Polk Street, Chicago.
