Judges

Description of Duties

Judges will be required to rate the quality of each student's presentation in the following three categories:
1. abstract for all students;
2. 5 to 7 minute presentation plus up to a 5 minute question and answer period for each presenter;
3. poster for sciences OR a five page paper for humanities.

Each judge will be given a form and asked to rate each presenter in each category on a scale from 0-10, 10 being the highest score.
Please keep in mind that presentations are judged for quality and research findings. Forms will be given to the judges on the Forum day, during check-in, or just prior to the Forum day, if necessary. Papers will be distributed prior to the event.
There is no set number of students to which the judge will be responsible; however each faculty member should judge at least two presentations.
There will be judges in each presentation category: Physical Sciences, Life Sciences and Humanities/Social Sciences.
