2008 Landon-AACR Prizes for Basic and Translational Cancer Research
The American Association for Cancer Research is now accepting nominations for the prestigious 2008 Landon-AACR Prizes for Basic and Translational Cancer Research, which recognize outstanding scientists who have made seminal basic and translational cancer research discoveries that have accelerated progress against cancer. The winners of these two major international prizes receive a financial award of $100,000 and are asked to present a major lecture at the AACR Annual Meeting.
For details about the nomination process, refer to the AACR Website at: http://www.aacr.org/page6255.aspx. The deadline to submit all nomination materials is August 24, 2007. Please note that AACR asks nominators to maintain the confidentiality of the nomination process and refrain from informing candidates about their nominations. There is no limit to the number of individuals that can be nominated from an institution.
