The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Research Development Services is hosting “Approaches to NIH Grantsmanship Success.” The invited speakers for this web conference include:

The speakers will discuss the following topics:
- Building a Research Portfolio
- Your Career Path: Grant Mechanisms & Submission Strategies (AREA/R15 Grants, R03s, R21s, R01s, Selective RFAs, K99/R00s and other K Awards)
- Understanding "New Investigator" and "Multiple Principal Investigator" Policies
- Securing Research Collaborations with Negotiated Roles & Outcomes
- Effective Interactions with Institutional and NIH Personnel
- Grantsmanship Resources
This event will be held in the Administrative Office Building (AOB), Room 307C, 1737 W. Polk St.
To register for this event:
- Go to www.uictraining.org.
- Login or if a first-time user, click on ‘Register with us.’
- Select ‘Course Catalog’ from the menu bar on the left.
- Under ‘General Research,’ find the workshop/course/event of interest and click on the title.
- Select and Click on ‘Grants Resource Center Virtual Workshop.’
- Click on Register.
