Writing for the Reviewer: NSF CAREER Awards

The Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research, Office of Research Development Services presents "Writing for the Reviewer: NSF CAREER Awards" a workshop for writing successful National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) proposals. Workshop presenters either hold active CAREER awards or have served as NSF CAREER panel reviewers. The workshop includes an overview of CAREER guidelines and review criteria, advice for crafting compelling and responsive proposals, and tips for captivating the NSF review panel. Seating is limited. Please follow the instructions below to RSVP.

The NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program supports the early career-development activities of those teacher-scholars who most effectively integrate research and education within the context of the mission of their organizations. Such activities should build a firm foundation for a lifetime of integrated contributions to research and education. Specific eligibility information about the NSF CAREER Award program can be found at http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2005/nsf05579/nsf05579.htm.
