Campus Research Board (CRB)
Welcome!
There will not be a spring 2007 competition.
CRB provides up to $15,000 in grant support for individual or group research
projects in these areas: Basic Life Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Natural
Science & Engineering
and Social Science. This support is intended to:
- Help promising new faculty initiate their research on this campus
- Provide seed money for research in new directions
- Provide support for preliminary studies to improve the potential for
attracting external research support
- Provide modest resources for important research in fields for which
external support is either quite limited or unavailable
- The board expects to augment the resources available from campus units
and external sponsors. It also serves as a vehicle for institutional
support in fields such as the humanities where such research support
is otherwise quite limited.
- The Research Board does not serve as a source of continuing support
for specific research activities or research facilities.
The Arts, Architecture, and the Humanities (OVCR-AAH) competition is administered
by The Institute
for the Humanities.
