Program Summary

This program seeks breast cancer research proposals with a strong emphasis on translational research. This will support institutional research grants to the major cancer centers in the state of Illinois or university affiliated hospitals, specializing in translational breast cancer research. Grants will be for 18 months and a maximum of $200,000 for the grant period July 1, 2012 through December 30, 2012.

Depending upon the number of LOIs submitted, OVCR might be required to facilitate an internal peer review process to select UIC’s submission(s) to this program. White paper instructions will be posted if necessary.
