Program Summary

This FOA issued by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development solicits grant applications from institutions/organizations willing to participate with the NICHD as the Data Coordinating Center under a cooperative agreement in an ongoing international multi-center research network designed to perform randomized clinical trials, using common protocols, to reduce the major risk of maternal, neonatal, infant, and early childhood mortality and significant morbidity in low income countries.

UIC is restricted to one application. Note: An Institution May Not apply for both RFA-HD-12-200 and RFA-HD-12-201

Letter of Intent

OVCR may reserve submission slots for previously submitted but unfunded proposals that received highly competitive ratings from the external sponsor. These will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Vice Chancellor. For consideration, scanned copies of your complete reviews (not just summary) must be included with LOI.

Depending upon the number of LOIs submitted, OVCR might be required to facilitate an internal peer review process to select UIC’s submission(s) to this program.  White paper instructions will be posted if necessary.
