Ethics Education and Curriculum Development Award (R25)

This program, administered by the Fogarty International Center (FIC), encourages
new applications for research ethics training in Mexico, Central America,
China, Brazil, Thailand, Vietnam, Nigeria, Russia and the countries of
the former Soviet Union. These awards are intended for the development
of graduate level curricula and will provide opportunities for developing
country academics, researchers, and health professionals in international
research ethics related to research that involves human subjects.
FIC anticipates 5-6 comprehensive curriculum development and training
awards. Applicants from both US and foreign institutions can request up
to $250K in total costs per year. Each institution is limited to one application.
This program will support only one new or existing program at an institution.

Internal Competition:
Applications submitted to the internal competition should include one
(1) electronic copy of all materials in .pdf format of the following:
- No
more than three (3) pages addressing:
- How the proposal addresses the
intent of Program Announcement
- What the PI and team expect to accomplish and
its overall significance
- One (1) page cumulative budget with one
(1) page justification
- Vitae (2 page) with current and pending support
(1 page) for PI and each Co-PI
