NIH – Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) Career Development Program (K12) RFA-HD-08-014Program summaryThe purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) issued by the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) and the Office of Research on Women’s Health (ORWH) is to solicit applications to continue to support a national program of mentored institutional career development programs for junior faculty who have recently completed postgraduate clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology, and are committed to an independent research career in women's reproductive health. The supervised research training will assist junior faculty in their transition into productive, physician scientists in areas related to obstetrics and gynecology and its subspecialties. The total project period for an application may not exceed five years. Direct costs are limited to $440,000 per year. Up to $65,000 in direct costs annually may be requested for the Administrative Budget. Up to $375,000 direct costs annually may be requested for three Scholars in the Scholars’ Budget.
