Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) in EngineeringProgram SummaryThis solicitation aims at introducing nanoscale science, engineering, and technology through a variety of interdisciplinary approaches into undergraduate engineering education. The focus of this year’s competition is on nanoscale engineering education with relevance to devices and systems and/or on the societal, ethical, economic and/or environmental issues relevant to nanotechnology. UIC may submit one proposal. A second proposal may be submitted only if it is focused on the societal, ethical, economic, and or environmental issues relevant to nanotechnology. Proposals must be submitted by a Principal Investigator holding a faculty appointment in a college or department of Engineering. Letter of IntentBy submitting this form, applicant attests that s/he has read and meets the sponsor's eligibility criteria for this program. Special instructions: OVCR may reserve submission slots for previously submitted but unfunded proposals that received highly competitive ratings from the external sponsor.
