NIH – NCMHD Community
Participation in Health Disparities Intervention Research
The goal of this NIH program is to support intervention
research on health disparities that is jointly conducted by communities
and researchers. An applicant may request up to $375,000 in direct costs
per year for up to three years. No cost sharing. NIH expects to make
5-10 awards.
UIC is allowed one submission. NIH deadline is April 14,
2005.

If you are interested
in submitting to this program, please provide the following:
- No more than three (3) pages addressing the following:
a. How your proposal addresses the intent of the NIH RFA
b. What you expect to accomplish and its overall significance
- One page cumulative budget with one page justification
- NIH Biosketch
with current and pending support for PI and each CoPI
This information must be submitted electronically by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March
15 to Mr. Anthony Halford in the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research
at ahalford@uic.edu. Results will be available by Friday March 18.
