Description
This solicitation aims at introducing nanoscale science,
engineering, and technology through a variety of interdisciplinary approaches
into undergraduate education. The focus is on nanoscale engineering education
with relevance to devices and systems and/or on the social, economic, and
ethical issues that surround nanotechnology.

UIC may submit one proposal as a lead institution. UIC
may submit a second proposal as lead institution only if it is focused
on the societal, ethical, economic and or/environmental implications of
nanoscale science and engineering; two proposals focused on these areas
are not allowed.
