NCSA/NSF Summer Faculty
Fellowship Program
The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) is pleased to
announce the call for proposals for the NCSA/NSF Summer Faculty Fellowship
Program for the Summer 2007. Proposals are sought from faculty members of
the Great Lakes Consortium for cross-disciplinary and collaborative engagements
between NCSA Staff and faculty interested in contributing to the creation
of a national cyberinfrastructure for arts, humanities, science and engineering.
Deadline: March 16, 2007.
The primary goal for the Fellowships is to bring experts with their domain
knowledge into successful collaborations with innovative staff at NCSA to
create new knowledge, understanding and capabilities. NCSA expects to award
about six NCSA/NSF Summer Faculty Fellowships in 2007. The fellowships provide
funding for summer salary as well as travel and local expenses.
Please contact Dr. Radha Nandkumar with your proposal ideas at fellowships@ncsa.uiuc.edu or
217-244-0650. Proposed collaborations must be discussed with NCSA staff
before applications are submitted, and applications must be endorsed by the
staff member with whom the prospective Fellow proposes to work. For complete
information, application guidelines, and proposal submissions please refer
to http://fellowships.ncsa.uiuc.edu.
