Workshop on NSF Early Career Award programThe Office of the Vice Chancellor of Research, Research Development Services, presents Writing for the Reviewer: NSF CAREER Awards, a workshop for writing successful National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) proposals. The workshop includes an overview of application guidelines, advice for crafting compelling and responsive proposals, and tips for captivating the NSF review panel. You will hear first hand from a former NSF program director about what it takes to make the cut and also learn how two current UIC grantees finessed their proposals for very different NSF directorates: Education and Human Resources; Computer Science & Engineering.
