Maximum Consultant Rates on Federal Grants

In accordance with the Illinois Purchasing Act, all subcontractors or consultants with costs greater than $20,000 must be named in the original budget or proposal. If subcontractors or consultants are not indicated, the work to be completed must be sent out through a bidding process or prior approval from the sponsor is required. Please note that indicating a TBN for a subcontractor or consultant does not meet requirements of this Act.

For more information, visit the Office of Business and Financial Services.
