FDP Subaward Agreement
|
You may be able to streamline the subcontracting process by using
the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) agreement. (Learn
more about the FDP.) You are eligible to use the FDP if:
- The prime sponsor is NSF, NIH, ONR, DOE, USDA, AFOSR, ARO, AMRMC,
NASA or EPA
- And, your subcontractor is an FDP collaborating University. Check
the list of participating members.

Consultant Agreements

The University of Illinois Materials Transfer Agreements are modeled
after the Uniform Biological Materials Transfer Agreements (UBMTA) drafted
by several prominent U.S. universities, industry representatives and
government agency officials involved in materials transfer activity.

| Standard Research Agreement |
For basic research projects
where the sponsor does not require special intellectual property
terms. The funding provision provides for either a fixed price or
a cost-reimbursement
funding basis. The agreement includes unrestricted publication for
University researchers, and ownership of all results of the research,
including any
inventions, technologies or discoveries.

For
basic research projects where private sector sponsorship is involved.
Private sector sponsors may be interested in special intellectual
property terms and reasonable delays in publications to allow the sponsor
time
to review a publication for purposes of preserving patent protection.

Standard Technical Testing Agreement

For testing projects
involving the use of unique or special University facilities not if
the work entails original, creative research. The University makes
no claim
of ownership in data or other results generated under this agreement
and, is not interested in preserving publications rights.

Non Disclosure Agreement |
Before talking to anyone outside the University about your research,
please get a signed Non Disclosure Form, keep a copy in your files and send
a copy to ORS. This
nondisclosure ensures that any UICinformation you disclose will be protected
from further disclosure, it prevents the other side from
using your technology for commercial use without your permission, and
it preserves the University's ability to protect and license the technology.
