The Office of Research Services has developed a series of workshops for
UIC faculty, departmental business managers and other interested university
personnel involved with
sponsored research issues. These workshops will provide an interactive
forum to discuss the sponsored research contracting process at UIC.
The October
20, 2004 Round Table will
address the policies and procedures regarding the UIC Subcontract
Agreement. Items to be discussed include:
- When to use the ORS Subcontract Agreement and not the OBFS purchasing
contract
- Where to find the Subcontract Agreement on the ORS web site
- Importance of completing the Subcontract Approval Form
- Verification that Subcontractor/Consultant was named in original Grant
Application or Acceptable verification (email/letter from Sponsor)
- BANNER information/verification & BANNER Account Budget changes (IPAS/OPAS
process)
- Directions for completing the Subcontract Agreement
