Mandatory electronic submission via eRA Commons of all NIH Type 5 (non competing) progress reports under SNAP beginning June 1, 2005
Beginning June 1, 2005, ORS will require that all NIH Type 5 (non competing) progress reports under SNAP (Streamlined Non Competing Award Process) be submitted electronically (eSNAP) via the NIH eRA Commons https://commons.era.nih.gov/commons/.
Principal Investigator's with active Commons accounts, can begin to submit their eSNAP reports immediately. For those PI's who do not have an active Commons account, please contact either your departmental business administrator or Gwen Daniels in ORS at gdaniels@uic.edu.
Please plan ahead as registration of Commons user accounts can take up to 5 days to become active.
NOTE: A Proposal Approval Form (PAF) is still required by ORS for eSNAP submissions
