Fall 2006 Grants.gov Workshops for UIC Campus only
The Office of Research Services (ORS) invites the UIC research community to attend one of the four Grants.gov workshop sessions being offered during the Fall 2006 semester. Grants.gov is an e-government initiative designed to improve access to government services via a web based portal that allows individuals to search for funding from over 1000 grant programs, from 26 federal grant-making agencies (http://www.grants.gov/GrantingAgencies) that provide over $400 billion in annual awards.

Remote attendance option is not available for these workshops. Please note that the Peoria and Rockford campuses will have a separate workshop scheduled. More details will be forthcoming from your Peoria and Rockford campus contacts.
Who Should Attend Grants.gov Workshop:
The workshop will introduce participants to the Grants.gov electronic application
process and prepare UIC faculty and staff on the internal procedures
for submitting these applications. All federal government grant applications,
over time are to be submitted through Grants.gov.

by November 7th for the November 14th session; or December 7th for the
December 14th session).
