Publication Acknowledgment
General Guidelines
Sponsored projects recipients may be required to acknowledge the support
of the Awarding Agency for its funding of the sponsored activity, unless
specifically prohibited by Agency guidelines/regulations, whenever sponsored
activity funded in whole or in part is publicized by any news media or
referred to in any printed materials. Sponsored Activity includes research,
instruction and public service programs.
For specific information on publication requirements, please refer and adhere to the terms and conditions in your grant, contract or sponsor guidelines.
A sample acknowledgment should include the following information:
"
This publication was made possible by Grant Number __________ from the
____________________("Agency")" or "The project described
was supported by Grant Number _____________ from the _______________________("Agency")
and its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily
represent the official views of the
___________________________________________("Agency")."
Sponsors may also require copies of all articles relating to sponsored
project results that are published in a scientific, technical, professional
journal or publication.
