Grants.gov Workshop for UIC Campus only

The Office of Research Services (ORS) invites the UIC research community to attend a Grants.gov workshop session.

Grants.gov is an e-government initiative designed to improve access to government services via a web based portal that allows individuals to search for funding from over 1000 grant programs, from 26 federal grant-making agencies that provide over $400 billion in annual awards.

MBRB 1st Floor Auditorium (Molecular Biology Research Building, 900 South Ashland Avenue; please enter through 900 South Marshfield).

Remote attendance option is not available for this workshop.

Who Should Attend:

The workshop will introduce participants to the Grants.gov electronic application process and prepare UIC faculty and staff for the internal procedures for submitting these applications.

  1. Go to www.uictraining.org.
  2. Login or if a first-time user, click on Register with us.
  3. Select Course Catalog from the menu bar on the left.
  4. Select 'General Research' from Browse Catalog by Category.
  5. Under General Research, click on Grants.gov Presentation.
  6. If you are unable to attend, please un-register or contact Continuing-Ed@listserv.uic.edu.
