Grants.gov Workshop for UIC Campus onlyThe Office of Research Services (ORS) invites the UIC research community to attend a Grants.gov workshop session. Grants.gov is an e-government initiative designed to improve access to government services via a web based portal that allows individuals to search for funding from over 1000 grant programs, from 26 federal grant-making agencies that provide over $400 billion in annual awards. Date: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 Time: 10:00AM - 12 Noon Location:MBRB 1st Floor Auditorium (Molecular Biology Research Building, 900 South Ashland Avenue; please enter through 900 South Marshfield). Remote attendance option is not available for this workshop. Who Should Attend:The workshop will introduce participants to the Grants.gov electronic application process and prepare UIC faculty and staff for the internal procedures for submitting these applications.
