Release: Online Human Research Management System

We are pleased to announce the first of several new online tools to assist researchers and staff in managing their research protocols that involve human subjects.

RiSC® has been instrumental in allowing OPRS to analyze the review process in order to provide better services to the research community. In the past the RiSC® system has only been available for use by OPRS staff. We have now specifically developed a portal for faculty and staff of the UIC research community to gain access to part of this system.

Access the RiSC® system for a/an:

Listing of their expired research or research due to expire within 45 days
Listing of all active and completed research protocols
Ability to sort lists based on specific fields
Ability for the Principal Investigator to grant or revoke access to the protocol
Ability to display general and detailed information about the research protocol
Ability to contact OPRS staff members from the RiSC® system
Ability to view meeting and training schedules
Ability to view training sessions that have been completed and recognized by OPRS
