The Incubator Laboratory Facility in the Chicago Technology Park (CTP) is one of the oldest and one of the largest biotech incubator laboratory facilities in the United States. The Incubator, formerly called the Research Center, is a 56,000 sq. ft. wet-lab incubator with three functional floors and offers 37 fully-equipped laboratories ranging in size from 400 to 1,000 sq. ft., many with office and storage space (See Labs). Shared tenant space includes autoclaves, dishwashers/dryers, a dark room and cold rooms, as well as conference rooms and on-site security withcentral reception, receiving and shipping services.

About the Chicago Technology Park
The Chicago Technology Park (CTP) is a 56-acre site, administered by the Illinois Medical Center Commission within the boundaries of the Illinois Medical Center, that is assigned the mission of advancing research, development, and production in the fields of medicine, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering, computer sciences, biotechnology and other emerging areas of high technology by State Statute (1 I 1. Rev. Stat. Sect. II 1 1/2 par. 5 001 et. seq.). The founding partners of the CTP are the University of Illinois at Chicago, the Illinois Medical Center Commission, and Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center. The broad goals of the CTP are to stimulate innovative research, technology transfer and technology commercialization within the public and private sectors in order to create new jobs and new companies to meet the economic opportunities and challenges of the 21st century.
Directions:
The Chicago Technology Park Research Center is located in the Chicago Technology Park and within the Illinois Medical District, 2 miles west of downtown Chicago, just south of the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290).
Exit at Damen Avenue and proceed southbound. At Harrison Street (the Core Center is on Northwest corner), turn right and proceed westbound 2 blocks to the first stop sign. At the intersection with Leavitt, turn left heading southbound to Campbell Park Drive. Make a right-hand turn onto Campbell Park Drive. Street parking is available in front of the CTP Research Center.
