RiSC - Research Information Support and Communication Software

Developed by the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), RiSC software is a complete management tool to support Institutional Review Boards (IRB).

UIC is bringing this innovative software to the research community. The application:

Centralizes, archives, and makes protocol data easily accessible
Uses integrated business logic
to facilitate compliance with
federal policies and regulations
Tracks comprehensive protocol details, from performance site to subject enrollment demographics, throughout the protocol lifecycle

The system is in full use (production) at four institutions with plans to add a fifth institution.
