Background
In December of 2002,
I will have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the
University of Illinois at Chicago. Since
early 2002, I have been working in Dr. Bonnie Spring’s lab and learning
the fundamentals of research. I
am currently co-coordinating one of Dr. Spring’s projects that measures
the effects of nicotine on positive and negative affect in smokers with
and without depression. In
this NA/PA lab, I hold many responsibilities and have many duties, while
still trying to further my abilities on becoming a good researcher.
Current
Activities and Interests
Currently, I am interested in the
mechanisms that cause addictions in people.
More specifically I hope to learn more about why some people are
more prone to addiction than others.
Through working under Dr. Spring, I hope to expand my interests and
enhance my research potentials on this topic.
