Speakeasy

Speakeasy is useful for the interactive manipulation of arrays and matrices, eigenanalyses, statistics and many other mathematical calculations. Interactive users receive the answers, making Speakeasy act as a powerful calculator. For a list of Speakeasy reference manuals, enter: help publications in Speakeasy.

speakez
invokes Speakeasy with an X windows GUI
speakez -e
invokes Speakeasy in command line mode

The following directories must be included in your PATH environment variable:

On icarus: On tigger:
/usr/local/speakeasy/scripts /usr/lpp/speakeasy/scripts
/usr/local/bin /usr/bin

To do this, add the following to your .profile or enter them as commands at the UNIX prompt:

On icarus:
PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/speakeasy/scripts
export PATH

On tigger:
PATH=$PATH:/usr/bin:/usr/lpp/speakeasy/scripts
export PATH

Speakeasy is supported by Speakeasy Computing Corporation.
