SPSS 6.1
The SPSS statistical software package
uses an X Windows interface to allow
you to perform many types of data analyses,
from computing
frequencies and means to complex multivariate statistics.
SPSS is installed on icarus and tigger; the man page link below
returns tigger's man page.
To use SPSS interactively in text mode on icarus, enter:
spss -m

In the opening window, click the "Help" button; other windows have a
Help menu on their menu bar.
