During UIC QuarkNet’s summer workshop students from Glenbard South, measured the rate of at least two scintillation counters hit in a large air shower, as a function of separation of the counters.  Note that the denser core of muons in the cosmic ray showers within a 3 meter radius is observed in all trigger multiplicity samples
